Opened in 1924, the building was once the largest woollen mill in the southern hemisphere and to this day retains much of its original heritage. It is my great pleasure to introduce you to the Launceston Conference Centre- one of Tasmania's most versatile and spacious venues for hosting events and conferences. We have so much to offer you, whatever kind of event or function you are planning.
Situated in the beautiful and historic city of Launceston, surrounded by fine dining experiences, wineries, and spectacular wilderness, our venue offers a truly unique experience. Our guests enjoy state of the art conference facilities amidst the character of a historic, industrial site, once Launceston's iconic- Coat's Patons' woollen mill- now Door of Hope Christian Church.
Launceston Conference Centre is a facility full of possibilities. Across our large site, we offer many options with 14 different rooms, including our main auditorium, which seats up to 850 people. Complete with high-quality audio-visual technology, including extensive stage lighting, our guests are always guaranteed a first-class production experience.

With a church community formed in the 1800s, and a home constructed in the 1920s, Door of Hope has a rich history in Launceston.
For well over 130 years, we have connected with and served our local community; from originally gathering in halls and tents, to our current home - a once-derelict building, now transformed into a place of vibrant life and hope, where we can connect people to the real source of truth.
